Warranty Procedures for Battery Chargers:

Congratulations on your purchase of our Battery Charger. We value your trust in our product and want to ensure that you have a seamless experience using it. This warranty outlines the procedures you need to follow in case your charger requires service or support during the warranty period. Please read the following steps carefully:

Warranty Coverage:

CTI chargers come with a limited warranty that covers defects in material and workmanship that extends from the original date of shipment. The warranty period is activated on the day of shipment and is tied to the charger’s serial number.

Troubleshooting:

Charger service is to be provided by an authorized service provider. If you encounter any issues with your battery charger, refer to the user manual for troubleshooting guidelines. Many common problems can be resolved through simple troubleshooting steps. You may obtain a copy of your user manual by using the QR Code located on the side of the charger under the nameplate.

Contact Customer Support:

If the issue persists or is beyond your ability to troubleshoot, contact our customer support team. You can reach them via phone or email, as provided on the warranty page or our website. Our support representatives will guide you through further steps.

Proof of Purchase:

When contacting customer support, have the charger serial number available, as it is necessary for product identification, set-up and test data at the time of shipment and warranty status.

Return Authorization (if applicable):

In some cases, the customer support team may provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before sending parts for repairs or replacement. Do not send the charger parts without obtaining the RMA number, materials shipped without proper documentation cannot be received.

Shipping the Charger:

If the battery charger needs to be sent for evaluation/repairs, pack it securely in its original packaging or similar protective material. Include all the accessories that were shipped with the charger. Ship the package to the address provided by the customer support team.

Repairs or Replacement:

Upon receiving the battery charger, our technical team will inspect it thoroughly. If the issue is covered under warranty, we will either repair the charger or provide a replacement, depending on the nature of the defect. The decision regarding repair or replacement will be at the sole discretion of the manufacturer.

High Frequency Modules:

This special provision is specific to high frequency battery charger modules. Your battery charger may be assembled using a single module or multiple modules used in parallel to generate the desired D.C. output. These modules have no field serviceable parts. If your unit experiences a module issue, Typically the charger control will display an “M” code and the front indicator light on the module with the issue will indicate what issue is detected. In order to help expedite repair our service desk will verify your battery charger by the model and serial number and possibly ask you for the specific part number found on the module.

Financial Accountability:

Due to the cost of battery charger modules, we will ask end users, dealers, battery manufacturers and other servicing agents to provide a purchase order number for tracking purposes and financial responsibility. This purchase order must be a document emailed or faxed to our Sales department.

CTI will internally generate a warranty exchange order with a remanufactured module and a module core charge. The core charge is required so that we can track the incoming faulted components and evaluate the cause of failure. Our goal with this process is to expedite the delivery of the replacement module to the end user and then to determine warranty status once it is returned.

Return Shipping (if applicable):

If a replacement battery charger or parts are provided, we will cover the return shipping costs of the battery charger/ parts to your address (continental US destination).

Please note that this warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, accidents, unauthorized repairs, freight carrier damage or modifications to the charger. Additionally, any warranty claim submitted without all necessary information will not be eligible for service.

We assure you that our team is committed to resolving any issues you may encounter with our battery chargers promptly and professionally. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact our customer support team. Thank you for choosing our product, and we hope you enjoy using it for many years to come!
